Tuhian Beach, Catanauan, Quezon Province

Hidden White Sands Beach

Just like in Catanauan Cove

If you are going near at Catanaun, General Luna or Macalelon, these place must be in you list. It is situated just beside Catanauan Cove. (See Map below, located at the left side)

The road going to the beach is 4.7km from Gumaca-Pitogo-Mulanay-San Narciso Road. From the highway to the beach, the absence of white sands is visible. You may feel that you're getting near but it's not. It can be travel by a private vehicle or hire tricycle. I just don't have idea with the fare since we have our own car. In the middle of the road, there is a toll-gate. Locals here is collecting fee for the road project in the barangay.

Upon reaching basketball court, just straight ahead and the see can view from there. Cottages and private resort is available in the place but just few.

All-in-white. Yes, it's true.

We came here to have fun, relax and also to take some pre-nup photo. We aren't proffessional but the place makes every shots perfect.
(Mr. & Mrs. Johnell Son's Pre-nup photos)

We really appreciate this place.

Van ride going back to Dasma, Cavite

Few years ago, based in previous blogs i red, they walk along sea shore before getting in jump-off point. But now, the construction of roads and bridges is on going. Still, it is a long way walk although there's another option to ride in trike, we prefer to walk in an up and down concrete road slope.

First 15 minute climb up to rest place, quite good. Next, it is tough and getting even harder. This is my first trek in my life and i found it too difficult but fulfilling. At the back of my mind i'm telling "last na 'toh!!" (Haha)

The trail is easy to follow but it will be confusing when you reach houses. Some residents here offers special halo-halo. Maybe, because it's summer time. Whenever i see some of my team going through a high steps, i got fainted and scared to step mine so instead of looking upward, i look at my shoes and to the ground. Lakad lang. :)

What really helped me to get through with it is when the unexpected rain fall while treking. We all want to get up fast so i have no choice. I also want to so i made it. We took our dinner at one of residents in the mountain. They are polite and has a rest place for the mountaineers. We ate and got energize to start again the trek to campsite. Upon reaching the campsite, our team owned the place with water and nice grass to place our tents. Got socials and get sleep.

Dinner sa nagtitinda ng halo-halo 🍨

4am. The rain woke us up and no one get out the tent.
5am. When the rain stop, we had our breakfast and clean ourselves for the trek to the summit. Camp2 is nicer than the camp at the summit. We had our running water supply there and surrounded by trees.

At the summit, we failed to see the view. No clearing of clouds but still i was a happy kid inside. I conquered my fear and achieved things i never expect and even prepared for it.
Now, from the top, i told to myself that this is not my first and last climb. A big thanks to my mjal who lift me up and carried me when im fainting. πŸ’œ

Here some pictures for keeps. :)

Love Surf BALER 2015

Month of Feb, i saw a page from Facebook who offers Baler tour for only P1,500.00 per pax by "We Wander Travel and Tours". The man behind the said page is Mr. Mhick Pino who consistenly answer queries and very patient. This is my first time to give a trust in this kind of an ad. For P500.00 reservation fee, it is quite good.

We planned to go to BALER celebrating
 Mjal Glenn's 24th bornday & our 75th Monthsary

MHIE'S NOTES :

1. We wander Travel and Tours offers a great adventure trip plus the owner of agency is really polite and responsive to queries. They can be trusted without a doubt.
2. Mr Shally, our driver was so cool and became close to our group.
3. Try to join with other groups in a package tour. Don't forget to bring monopod with you for groufie and make shots with them. Make friends. Show up. Be cool.
4. I think package tour is cheaper than having your own itinerary.
4.1. Disadvantage: Itinerary is not flexible.
4.2. Advantage: the driver knows the best itinerary cause they travel on that place so many times. They will get you to resto who serves good & budget meals.
5. Make some noise inside the van. Do sing and party party cause for sure the travel and Sierra Madre is very long (6-7hours of travel)
